K-Community of Bangalore

The K-Community of Bangalore has been created to share knowledge and experiences about Knowledge Management (KM) within Bangalore.   Collectively, we want to create better awareness of KM and create a movement to impact industry and society via KM.  We intend to discuss best practices, case studies, tools and techniques, and conduct research studies and benchmarking.

Areas of KM that we intend to cover include:

  • KM Frameworks, Processes and Policies
  • KM Technology & Systems
  • Knowledge Culture and Environment
  • Innovation, Creativity, and Intellectual Property Protection
  • Intellectual Capital, Measurement and Metrics
  • Software Reuse
  • Organizational Learning

The meetings are held every 3rd Wednesday of the month, from 6-8pm.  Each month, the meeting will be hosted by a different organization, and rotated.  This will be announced by email and also on our website.

Membership Requirement

Participation is welcome from everyone.  The only requirement is a passion for KM.  We welcome participants from the private and public sector, academia, students, and consultants.  The practitioners could be from KM departments or from others like HR, Strategy, IS, Legal, Technology, etc.  As long as you are interested in KM, you are welcome.  You will have to register to become part of our mailing list.
